Kingdom Eighties has nostalgia for the 80s
In addition to revisiting the culture and aesthetics of the 80s, this new episode of the Kingdom strategic series promises a new adventure, against the backdrop of the United States city invasion.
Nostalgia for the 80’s never stops, and even the most medieval game, moreover, comes to prove it again. After New Lands and Two Crowns, two episodes that revisited the original opus of 2015 ( Kingdom: Classic ) with new iterations of GamePlay, Kingdom Eighties (subtitle “summer of Greed”) A new step in the strategic series created by Noio and taken up here by the Croatian studio Fury Studios.
Exit the fortified castles, the towers of Guits, the beggars in rags, and even the horse as a faithful Destrier. Make way for bitumen, alleys lit with pale lamp, cathodic TV stations (only environmental clues suggested by the advertising _trailer) and especially at BMX bicycle to protect themselves from the waves of monsters that will attack our American town.
On the scenario side, we stand for at least: a troop of children will have to do everything to protect his city from the imminent invasion of the GREED, the famous antagonistic faction (made of Cyclopean monsters) of the series. If that is not a pitch that seeks to flirt with the fan of Stranger Things or the last S.O.S Fantômes: the inheritance … and it is obviously the official wish emitted by its publisher Raw Fury, Who wants to seduce the fans of the series as much as the pure neophytes, who still remember their Saturday morning, in pajamas, in front of the family television, with a certain melancholy.
Without more precision, Raw Fury therefore promises to take out the game “sur the coolest platforms, later in the year”. We will surely know a little more by then.
